Dr. Jacqueline Wolf
Dr. Wolf holds a Doctorate of Psychology from The George Washington University in Washington, DC and a BS (Honors) in Human Development from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in Pediatric Neuropsychology and her post-doctoral fellowship in Early Child Development.
Dr. Wolf has worked in wide range of settings such as children’s hospitals, pediatric rehabilitation centers, multi-disciplinary therapy clinics, pre-schools, and community mental health centers. With over 8 years of experience working in the field of child psychology, she utilizes her expertise in the assessment of early developmental delays, neurodevelopmental disorders and learning disorders.
Dr. Wolf utilizes a strengths-based approach in her psycho-educational evaluations, using a child’s personal strengths to guide approaches to learning and recommendations for intervention. Dr. Wolf’s evaluations aim to provide an in depth view of a child’s cognitive strengths and weaknesses, specific learning styles, academic abilities, as well as social-emotional and behavioral functioning skills to build a holistic picture of the child’s functioning and capabilities across all settings. Her comprehensive assessments provide individualized recommendations for guiding education planning, an intervention plan for remediating areas of academic difficulty, positive strategies to support social-emotional well being, and parent- and teacher-focused tools to support behavioral challenges that may be impacting learning outcomes. She also works closely with learning support teams within the international school community, developing personalized curriculum paths and individual education plans (IEPs) to support children with additional learning needs.
Dr. Wolf is a US licensed clinical psychologist and is accredited by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and is an international affiliate member of the American Psychological Association.
