Rebecca Wilcox has a Masters in Counselling and a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Health Science with Psychology. Prior to re-training in 2018 she worked in the charity sector in London, most recently for a leading Breast Cancer charity.
Rebecca’s focus is on young children who face a range of issues including anxiety, low mood, grief, behavioural, friendship and family issues.
Through building a strong relationship with her clients, Rebecca’s aim is to bring about a wholeness within the young person’s mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
Rebecca uses an integrative approach to counselling – predominantly client led but utilising different therapies, for example CBT, play therapy and positive psychology.
Rebecca grew up as an expat in a number of different countries including Papua New Guinea, Somalia and Ethiopia. She moved to Hong Kong in 2015 with her husband and two children. She plays hockey and enjoys heading out for hikes.
