Samara has an MA in Clinical Psychology from The New School in New York, and is currently completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at University College London.
She has delivered psychotherapy in both the UK and Hong Kong, using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has worked with individuals to cope with a range of presentations, from mild to complex. These include anxiety, trauma and PTSD, social anxiety, OCD, depression, personality disorders and carers of individuals with mental health difficulties.
Samara has experience in providing psycho-educational assessments to children and adolescents with Attention-Deficit disorders (ADHD), Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and learning difficulties.
Samara is currently completing her dissertation on attachment based interventions in the context of high risk mothers-infant relationships.
