Henriette Olesen

Henriette received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa and a Masters in Audiologopedics, focusing on language, speech and hearing disorders, from the University of Copenhagen.

She is a certified member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCLST, London), the Hong Kong Association of Speech Therapists (HKAST), the Hong Kong Society of Audiology (HKSA) and she lectures as a Field Supervisor in Psychology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also on the Board of Governors for ICHK (International College Hong Kong) Secondary School.

Henriette previously worked in the UK and Denmark. On her arrival to Hong Kong, she worked at the Jockey Club Sarah Roe School and various other International schools. She has worked in private practice since 2006.

Henriette works with students aged 18 months to 15 years who are experiencing challenges with communication skills, language learning disorders, global developmental delays, selective mutism or shyness, stammering, autistic spectrum disorders and speech sound difficulties.

Henriette is the mother of two teenage boys, and she speaks both English and Danish.

She can be seen by appointment at Southside clinic and also offers a home visit service for selective clients.
