Lorena Kastner

Lorena has experience working with children ages 3 to 16 who have fine and gross motor difficulties, visual perceptual difficulties, handwriting difficulties, learning difficulties, sensory processing difficulties, Dyspraxia, Developmental Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD), Down syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. She is passionate about working with children with a variety of physical, intellectual and developmental difficulties to assist them to unlock their full potential and reach their goals.

Lorena has over 5 years of experience providing clinic and home based interventions in a wide range of settings which include special education schools, private practices and hospitals. She believes in the importance of integrating the techniques and skills learnt in therapy into everyday life. By continuously updating both school and home on successful approaches, she aims to provide a service which allows the child to succeed across therapy, home and school.

Lorena holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Oxford Brookes University in the U.K. She is a registered Occupational Therapist in Hong Kong and the U.K. Lorena is bilingual in English and German.

Lorena has completed further professional development in Sensory Integration Module 1 & 2, OT for Children with Handwriting Difficulties, Quickshifts, SOS Approach to Feeding, Understanding Sensory Processing, Special Yoga for Special Children Teacher Training and Rainbow Kids Yoga Teacher Training.
