She is very experienced in the assessment of neurodevelopmental and learning disorders in children and adolescents.
Assessment: Theresa utilizes a strengths-based approach in her psycho-educational evaluations. Theresa has also been trained in conducting the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS). Theresa’s feedback and assessment reports provide individualized recommendations for guiding education planning, an intervention plan for remediating areas of academic difficulty, and parent- and teacher-focused strategies to support behavioral challenges that may be impacting learning outcomes. She also works closely with learning support teams to develop personalized curriculum paths and individual education plans (IEPs) to support children with additional learning, behavioral and/or extension needs.
